• C.A.S. SHELL – The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.
• C.A.S. LINER – The Cochise C.A.S. liners are light, anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and great heel hold. The dual density micro-cells material is durable and easy to customize. For unmatched personal customization the C.A.S. liner can be thermo-molded, punched and grinded. The new folding structure on the back ensures easy hiking.
• T-RIDE – The T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot design. It’s a solid cuff-to-shell connection which delivers the perfect combination between downhill performance and uphill hiking ability.
• Asymmetric power transmission - The revolutionary asymmetrical concept is based on a different thickness of the shell and liner structures. The inside of the shell is slightly thicker and stiffer and the outside of the shell is thinner and more flexible.
• ARCH GRIP – Toe and heel Vibram® rubbered soles are connected by the rubber Arch Grip that delivers more versatility in the daily usage. It supplies more grip on mountain terrain, on metal ladders, on snowmobiles, and so on.
• Power Lock Strap – The Power Lock strap provides perfect control and more precise power transmission. The hook eliminates the need to open the strap completely, saving you time.
• FREE MOVE - The new hinge point allows frictionless hiking, so you can hike more with less energy.
• QUICK INSTEP – Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
• VIBRAM – Thanks to our partnership with Vibram, Tecnica skiboots feature Vibram soles characterized by a dual-density rubber compound. Yellow harder rubber in those areas closed to the binding, in order to provide with a higher power transmission while skiing. The black areas identify a softer compound that allows an increased grip of the sole for more security when the boot is in walk mode.
• Grip Walk Sole - GripWalk is a sole-binding interface system aimed to give excellent grip while walking on icy or snowy paths. The convex shape of the GW sole delivers superior walking comfort and grip on slippery surfaces.
Gripwalk soles are composed of a heel pad and a toe pad, that can be mounted and replaced separately. When a GripWalk sole is mounted on a boot, the binding must be accordingly GripWalk compatible. Those can be identified by the original GripWalk logo on it. Conventional alpine bindings without the logo are not compatible with GripWalk soles.
• The RECCO reflector in this product enables rescue profes-sionals to locate you with RECCO detectors in the event of an avalanche accident or when lost in the outdoors. RECCO reflectors require no power and no activation to function. Multiple reflectors are recommended for optimal performance.
