• Stitches and material overlaps are eliminated in the VENTO Ws thanks to the use of large pieces in forming the upper. This reduces the possibility of pressure points, a feature that enhances comfort.
• LOWA DynaPU®+ is used in the VENTO Ws. This is a specially developed foam padding used in the midsole of footwear. It plays a key role in the rolling properties and the cushioning of the footwear. The new LOWA DynaPU®+ offers even better recovery behaviour thanks to its special cell structure. This, in turn, creates an improved rebound effect for athletes. Even with constant use, the recovery behaviour does not lose any of its high performance qualities.
• To ensure perfect fit, the lasts used for VENTO Ws have been specially designed with the anatomy of women’s feet in mind. The last plays a key role in the ultimate fit of a boot. Women’s feet have less volume than men’s feet. As a result, the instep height and the ball area of these lasts have been altered.
• The textile lining in the VENTO Ws is pleasantly lightweight. The textile material is durable, easy to care for and comfortable.
• Our synthetic fabrics made of such plastics as nylon, polyester, polypropylene and elastane (Lycra) are primarily used as design elements and protection for the upper due to their abrasion resistance and tear strength.
• Low-top design
• The LOWA® URBAN TRAIL Ws is guaranteed to provide the best comfort in the city or on light terrain thanks to a profile design that has been optimised for this very purpose. The profile channels are designed in such a way that they can optimally repulse moisture and dirt. The updated profile design provides harmonious rolling properties.
• Approx. 10% Mesh is a material that consists of many evenly spaced holes. It is usually made of polyester or nylon and basically a lattice-like material that is created by interwoven threads. Thanks to its special design, the man-made fibre is particularly permeable to air, has special moisture-regulating qualities and is easy to care for, breathable and crease-resistant.; Approx. 90% Polyurethane (PU) is a soft plastic that has very good cushioning properties and is usually used in the midsole as a result. Through the use of PU, the soles become lightweight and functionally flexible.
