The LOWA FUSION® LO Ws is the perfect refuge for tired feet that need some special care. This is provided in particular by the anatomic shape of the upper’s sock-like concept. It is a design that enables the shoe to wrap your feet in a virtual second layer of skin and provides an added measure of support in the interior, features that will revitalise the overworked arches of your feet. The elastic knitted material enables users to easily slip into and out of the footwear, a process that is further assisted by the two straps on the elastic cuff. We have also added another feature that takes the perfect walking comfort provided by the shoe to an even higher level. The outsole with its serrated stud profile comes with a discreet rocker in the forefoot area to support a natural rolling process. With the additional help of the cushioning LOWA-DynaPU® midsole, you will feel as if you are walking on air.
• Stitches and material overlaps are eliminated in the LOWA FUSION® LO Ws thanks to the use of large pieces in forming the upper. This reduces the possibility of pressure points, a feature that enhances comfort.
• With the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the LOWA FUSION® LO Ws provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and support it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a STABILITY FRAME.
• The LOWA FUSION® LO Ws is footwear onto which the outsole has been directly injected. This manufacturing technique creates an exceptionally precise and very strong bond between the sole and upper.
• The midsole of the LOWA FUSION® LO Ws has been specially adapted to the natural features of the foot as a way of increasing comfort and fighting fatigue. These qualities are created by using integrated cushioning in the insole and its anatomically optimised form.
• The midsole is the leading contributor to the footwear’s rolling properties and cushioning. In the LOWA FUSION® LO Ws, this midsole is made of a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU®. The special feature: It retains its restoring force even when it’s pressed together thousands of times. As a result, the finished boots will maintain their exceptional cushioning properties even after you have walked many kilometres in them.
• To ensure perfect fit, the lasts used for LOWA FUSION® LO Ws have been specially designed with the anatomy of women’s feet in mind. The last plays a key role in the ultimate fit of a boot. Women’s feet have less volume than men’s feet. As a result, the instep height and the ball area of these lasts have been altered.
• The LOWA FUSION® LO Ws is equipped with a LOWA RUBBER OUTSOLE. Conceived by LOWA to meet the challenges of real-world use, the profile design is made from an optimised rubber compound. The result is a rubber outsole with good traction in the backcountry and off trail.
The rubber sole LOWA® GT Ws is characterised by its angular profile design. This feature provides a large contact surface and solid grip on easy terrain or during urban outings.
