The Pheos QV is one of Alpina’s best ski goggles. Along with its modern design, the striking frame and the huge field of vision, the ski goggles are a winning choice because of one more point: their features. The lens is equipped with Alpina’s high-end technology: QuattroVarioflex. This enhances contrasts and filters out disturbing reflections. In addition, the tint of the lens automatically adjusts to the light conditions. This thereby covers protection level categories 2 to 3. The result is optimum visibility in all light and weather conditions. The Fogstop coating on the inside prevents the lens from misting up. In addition, the double lens is break-proof and guarantees 100% UV protection. The flexible Comfort Frame and the comfortable triple-layer foam padding ensure they are extremely comfortable to wear. Silicone strips on the goggle strap guarantee an optimal fit in combination with a ski helmet.

• All Alpina lenses provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection.
• Airframe venting is an intelligent ventilation system for ski goggles. Air vents at the sides and bottom with special foam covers allow a continuous movement of air within the body of the goggles. This circulation of air disperses moisture preventing the lens from misting up.
• The Comfort Frame is designed in such a way that it adapts perfectly to the shape of the face thanks to the flexible plastic webbing in the forehead and cheek area. The result: an ergonomic fit that ensures the best possible comfort and prevents pressure marks. At the same time, the ski goggles are perfectly finished.
• Doubleflex is a double lens with a number of advantages due to its design. It provides 100% protection against UV-A, UV-B and UV-C rays, creates a thermal block that prevents the lens from freezing, is break-proof and, with a Fogstop coating, ensures a clear view. At all times.
• With Doublelens Thermoblock, an air chamber is created between the two lenses to prevent a cold bridge. As a result, the view is fog-free and always optimal.
• All Alpina ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear.
• Mirror is a lens on which multiple reflective layers are applied. They provide protection from harsh glares and infrared light. Mirror is not only the feature of a highly functional lens, it’s an element of style.
• Quattroflex is the term for a specially coloured lens in ruby red, which reduces the proportion of blue in visible light. This increases contrasts in the snow, allowing surroundings to be perceived better and more quickly. Thanks to the lens’s brightening effect, the contours and textures of the piste can be perceived better even in poor weather conditions. A polarisation film of highest optical quality built into the lens completes the Quattroflex effect: Distracting scattered light and glares are filtered out and the contrast is also enhanced. Reflections and mirroring are minimised, which allows icy surfaces and dangerous situations to be seen much better.
• Skid Grip is a special rubber coating on the inside of the eyewear strap. They prevent the ski goggles from slipping on the mostly smooth surface of the ski helmet.
• The Spherical Lens is spherically domed, providing much better panoramic vision. The enlarged volume inside also optimises climate management inside the goggles. Thermoblock and Fogstop effectively prevent the ski goggles from fogging up.
• Varioflex is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adjusts to the weather. The self-tinting (photochromatic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. The result: a lens for a wide variety of light conditions.
